Changes to inland shipping tariff regulations

On 1 January 2026, tariffs were indexed by 1.91%. This indexation does not apply to the cost price of drinking water, shore power and paid waste. The actual consumption and processing costs apply to these items.

Out-of-service of the Berendrecht lock

In 2026, major renovation work is planned for the Berendrecht lock. Among other things, the lock walls, drawbridges and bottom rails will be addressed. In order to achieve this, the lock will have to be frequently taken out of service, which will have a major impact.

The periods of closure will take place in several phases.
